Adopt a Classroom - the coolest website ever! Today we were adopted by one of my college professors. My kids are going to be so excited! Now I can get computer software that they've been begging for. (Teacher's choice money covers things like paper, pencils, sharpeners, glue, scissors...things kids are supposed to supply themselves but don't/can't.)
What a great way to start off the year - I'm so pumped for school to start!

Your blog is very inspiring and has re-energized me several times when I have been discouraged by happenings in my own classroom. I wanted to let you know that in addition to placing teachers in urban regions, your organization also places teachers in seven rural regions, including the one where I work (if your organization is the one I believe it is.) We may not represent the majority of placement sites, but we're out there too! Keep rocking it out in your classroom.
